The top 3 players returning the lowest aggregate of 3 net scores from the 12 club medal competitions will be eligible to be play in the Regional Final the following year. (Month) Medals: Singles, strokeplay, Handicap allowance 95%. These medals are not part of the Scottish Golf medal winners qualifier.
Club Championship Qualifiers: 3 Qualifying rounds of singles stroke play. The best 2/3 gross scores for each player will be calculated and the 8 lowest gross scores will qualify for the Club Championship match play rounds. Once these 8 players have been selected the best 2/3 nett score for each remaining player will be calculated and the lowest 8 scores will qualify for the Handicap Club Championship.

Peggy Smith: Singles, Strokeplay, scratch competition.
Centenary Shield: Singles, Strokeplay, Handicap allowance 95%
Tullibody House Cup: Singles strokeplay, 2 round competition. Handicap allowance 95%. The winner will be the player with the lowest 2 combined nett scores.
Par Bogey: Each player plays match play against the course. You score 0 for a nett par (halved the hole) 1 point for a nett birdie (won the hole), -1 point for a nett bogey or worse (lost the hole). The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the round.
Captains Cup: 18 hole singles stableford 95% handicap allowance. The winner will receive a prize selected by the Lady Captain.
Jean McInally: 18 hole singles strokeplay 95% handicap allowance.
Margaret Williams Trophy: 18 hole singles stableford 95% handicap allowance
Greenfield Trophy: 18 hole singles strokeplay 95% handicap allowance
9 hole Stableford: 9 hole stableford, 50% handicap allowance.
Medal Winners FinaL: 18 holes, strokeplay 95% handicap allowance. In addition all players who won a Medal 1-12 throughout the season are invited to the final.
Spring / Summer Scrambles: 18 hole 4-person team stroke play event. 100% allowance of course handicap. Max handicap index 54. Team handicap calculated using 25% + 20% + 15% + 10% from Lowest to Highest handicap. All players tee off, the team select one drive. From there, all members of the team place their golf balls where the chosen drive ended up, with all members playing a second shot from this spot. From these second shots, one is chosen, and all play a third shot from there, and so on until the ball is holed. Each player must have a minimum of 3 drives.
Ladies Greensome: 18 hole, 2-person team, strokeplay competition. Both partners play from the teeing area and one of the two tee shots is selected. The partner whose tee shot was not selected then plays the next stroke and each subsequent stroke is made in alternating order until the ball is holed. Each player must have a minimum of 6 tee shots, one of these must be at a par 3. Max handicap index 54. 100% allowance of course handicap. Team handicap calculated using (60% of Lower Handicap) + (40% of Higher Handicap).
Two Lady Scramble: 18 hole, strokeplay competition, 2 person team. Team Handicap = (35% of Lower Handicap) + (15% of Higher Handicap) All players tee off, the team select one drive. From there, all members of the team place their golf balls where the chosen drive ended up, with all members playing a second shot from this spot. From these second shots, one is chosen, and all play a third shot from there – and so on until the ball is holed. Each player must have a minimum of 6 drives.
Betterball (4ball) 2 person team. Each player plays their own ball. The best 2 nett scores at each hole are recorded. 100% Handicap allowance
Coronation Foursomes: Max Handicap index 40.0, 2 person team foursomes format, stableford scoring. Winning pair qualify for the area finals.
12 Hole Texas scramble: Stroke play competition, 3 person team. All players tee off, the team select one drive. From there, all members of the team place their golf balls where the chosen drive ended up, with all members playing a second shot from this spot. From these second shots, one is chosen, and all play a third shot from there – and so on until the ball is holed. Each player must have a minimum of 3 drives. Each player will be given 2/3 of there handicap then the team handicap will be calculated using the following: 30% + 20% + 10% from Lowest to Highest handicap
Gean Trophy: Mixed Foursomes strokeplay. Teams are drawn prior to play. Ladies play from reds, Gents play from whites. Ladies tee off at odd holes gents on even. Handicap is half the combined total.
Ping Mixed Qualifier: Mixed Foursomes stableford. Winners go forward for the regional finals top 50 teams will qualify. Ladies play from reds, Gents play from whites. Ladies tee off at even holes gents on odd. Handicap – half the combined total.
Three Ball Betterball: 3 person team. Each player plays their own ball. The best 2 nett scores at each hole are recorded. 100% Handicap allowance
3 Lady Scramble: 18 hole stroke play competition. 3 person team. All players tee off, the team select one drive. From there, all members of the team place their golf balls where the chosen drive ended up, with all members playing a second shot from this spot. From these second shots, one is chosen and all play a third shot from there – and so on until the ball is holed. Each player must have a minimum of 4 drives. Team handicap: 25% + 20% + 15% + 10% from Lowest to Highest handicap
3 Lady Waltz: 18 hole stableford competition, 3 person team. At holes 1,4,7,10,13,16 best nett score is counted. At holes 2,5,8,11,14,17 best 2 nett scores are counted. At holes 3,6,9,12,15,18 best 3 nett scores are counted. Each player plays their own ball and is given 100% of their handicap
Should it be deemed to be necessary, the handicap committee reserve the right to retrospectively amend any results within 21 days of the competition end.
