Gents Handicap System New Features |

The 2010 version of the gents handicap system has now been installed.
The main features are real time internet competition booking and live internet leaderboard.
I have activated both features. Both features are available at www.howdidido.co.uk Internet competition booking will activate 10 minutes after the PSi, so you have a choice of booking at the club or from any computer.
The start sheets for this weekend are available now, next week's sheets will appear on Friday at 6:10pm. The leaderboard will show the same information that you see on the PSi screen. So when we finally get back to playing golf you can let me have your feedback through this website or by email to

Finally, its all over, many congrat's to Paul Starkey who made a fantastic final run to pip Tommy Carroll for top spot, unlucky Tom, you were on top for many weeks but quality shone through in the end,  . Braehead wannabe's kinda fell away toward the latter stages of the comp' and finished up in 14th place, not bad at all but we were so nearly so much better, in saying that we did finish 7000 points behind MCBA, oh well, there's always next season.

Thank god thats over, what a run, what a rain, now we just have the frost to contend with, well we do, they lucky FFFFantasy players get all the good stuff. At least everybody scores this week,some better than others but big improvements in everybodys scores...
Braehead Wannabe's move back up to 8th in the club league, its only one place, but its one place closer to Portugal, yeah?? We are after all only 3545pts behind first placed MCBA Golfing from Lothian. And only 1570pts behind BofA who are in 2nd place, read on...............

This is just a nonsense, its bad enough we canny get a round in coz o' oor weather, but when we cant even get a round in in the FANTASY GOLF because of the piggin' rain, whit chance we goat?????.
Brahead drop one place to 9th in the club league, no surprise there!!! even less surprising, there were 7 (seven) duck eggs picked up this week. The biggest surprise though, is T.Cs Troops poached one of those eggs, (do you see what i did there), cool eh?

I'm shocked, nay, stunned how could this happen? i blame the postal strike, my changes never got through in time, either that or its coz the clocks went back, i'm no happy. Good news is Braehead move up one place to 8th in the club league,Tommys T.Cs Troops move up one place to 4th in overall league and a quite fantastic jump, up 29 places, to 26th overall for Paul 'Stickle' Starkey well done guys..
